Read Me First

 

Thank you for purchasing an NEC projector.

The CD-ROM contains users manuals and seven utility programs for projector.

Each utility program works on Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. Image Express Utility 2 for Mac works on Mac OS only.

Install the utility programs on your computer from the CD-ROM. Refer to the users manual for basic operations of each utility program. For more information, refer to the help file of each utility program.

 

Users Manual

The complete users manual provides detailed operating instructions and functions for your NEC projector.

The users manual is supplied in Portable Document Format (PDF). To view PDF files, Adobe Reader is required.

download and install it from the Adobes website.

Virtual Remote Tool

- This is a software program used to control the power ON/OFF and source selection of the projector from your computer via a LAN (wired or wireless) connection or a serial cable. It is also used to send an image to the projector and register it as the logo data of the projector. After registering it, you can lock the logo to prevent it from changing.

 

Image Express Utility Lite

- This is a software program used to project your computers screen over a LAN (wired or wireless) connection. The computer cable (VGA) is not required.

- This software program can be used to control the power ON/OFF and source selection of the projector from your computer.

- The Geometric Correction Tool (GCT) function allows you to correct distortion of images projected on a curved wall.

 

Image Express Utility 2.0

- This is a software program used to send the screens of your personal computers to the projector via a LAN (wired or wireless) connection.

Projected images can be transferred and saved to personal computers.

When Meeting Mode is used, projected images can be alternately sent from a personal computer to not only one projector but also to two or more projectors.

 

Desktop Control Utility 1.0

- This is a software program used to operate the desktop screen of a personal computer at a remote location by using a projector via a LAN (wired or wireless) connection.

 

PC Control Utility Pro 4

- This is a software program used to operate the projector from the computer when the computer and the projector are connected with a LAN (wired or wireless) connection or a serial cable.

 

Viewer PPT Converter 3.0

- This is a software program used to convert files created with PowerPoint into JPEG files that can be displayed with the viewer function of the projector when a USB memory device is inserted into the projector.

 

Image Express Utility for Mac

- This is a software program used to send the Macs screen image to the projector via a LAN (wired or wireless) connection.
